'Dungeon Crawler Carl' Series Officially Adds a Sci-Fi Legend in a Game-Changing Move

Peacock's Dungeon Crawler Carl series adaptation is leveling up with some serious sci-fi firepower. In addition to writer Chris Yost, who has been spearheading the creative process of bringing Matt Dinniman's wildly popular post-apocalyptic LitRPG novels to life, Eric Heisserer has now been brought aboard to serve as co-showrunner. He brings to the table a wealth of experience in the genre, previously earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for penning Denis Villeneuve's
