In the late 1980s and into the 90s, the U.S. saw the rise of the third wave of Ska. Originating in Jamaica decades earlier, the genre was reinvented and infused with new punk rock energy, giving rise to bands like No Doubt, Sublime, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, and Less Than Jake. Among the groups that found success at this time was the New Jersey-based Catch 22, who released one of the era's more popular ska-punk albums, Keasbey Nights, and are still touring together to this day.
